Versace
Gianni Versace founded the Italian fashion company in 1978.
In 2000, Versace’s first boutique was opened in Milan’s Via della Spiga. Versace
designs, promotes, and distributes extravagant clothing, accessories, make up,
and home fixtures under the several brands of the Versace Group.
Andrew Cunanan murdered Gianni on July 15, 1997. Donatella
Versace, his sister, stepped in as creative director while his older brother
Santo became CEO. In his last will, Donatella’s daughter Allegra also owns 50%
of the company. In 2009 Giangiacomo Ferraris became the new CEO.
Atelier Versace, Versace Couture, Versace Sports, Versace

and accessories, it also runs a hotel called the Palazzo Versace, which opened

There are currently 82 boutiques in the world.
Atelier Versace was the first watch collection launched by
Gianni and Frank Muller in 1994.
Versace unveiled the first Versace mobile phone called the
Versace Unique. It was the first ever “luxury” multi-media, sapphire-crystal
touch screen mobile phone which was available in stainless steel or solid gold.
Depending on the trims, each phone may cost from $5,600 to $16,000.
